COVID-19 Updates

Dental patient wearing a mask to prevent the spread of COVID 19Governor Cuomo has lifted the mandate and we are once again allowed to see patients for all procedures.

We are excited to welcome our patients back to our practice and continue doing what we love best which is providing exceptional comprehensive dental and sleep apnea care to you and your family. We have missed you and truly appreciate you being a part of our dental family.

While many things have changed at our practice, one thing remains the same: “Our Commitment to Your Health and Safety”.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice as you have already seen during your past visits to our office. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep our patients and our team safe.

Our practice follows the latest infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), and the NYS Department of Health. In addition, we have gone above and beyond these guidelines by having a five-stage filtration system installed in each treatment room as well as the reception area, and routinely fogging the entire office with a nontoxic and safe disinfecting solution.

We are now offering virtual telehealth appointments where possible.

Our office will communicate with you one to two days before your appointment to ask you screening questions about your health and potential exposure to Covid-19.

Appointments will be managed in order to allow for social distancing between patients. This may mean that you are offered fewer options when scheduling your appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, we will ask you to come to our door wearing a face covering. Someone from our clinical team will take your temperature and will review once again the COVID-19 Wellness Questionnaire. Once in the treatment room, we will then have you rinse your mouth with an anti-microbial solution for 30 seconds before treatment is rendered. This has been shown to reduce transfer of microbes in the air.

We're doing all of this for your protection and to mantain the highest standards of sanitation. Your safety is our highest priority.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. To schedule an appointment, please call or text our office at (516) 243-7473.
